Hi shnap2nd

I have a spare wheel sub box in my car, I didn't build it, it was in the car when I bought it but it works great.

I has a 10 inch Alpine in the floor with the spare still in the well, its hinged and I still keep all the tools in the well too !

The well is sound deadened with Dynamat and has Dacron inside the wheel too.

I'll get some photos up ASAP.

Cheers
Michael

I would recommend to fiberglass the wheel well, with a flat MDF top.

Dynamat while a good eliminator of vibration, as it adds mass to a surface, is still pliable when applied, fiberglass sets rock solid, and that whats you want for maximum efficiency for your sub.
