Is anyone aware of where I can buy gold ring terminals to suit 8 gauge wire, but have a 6.3mm hole / post?

It is common to find them with an 8mm or 9mm hole / post size, but I need 6.3mm.

I remember Jaycar did have them many years ago, but it seems they only have 8 gauge terminals for the 8mm hole / post (or smaller hole to suit self tapping screws, which is too small and not enough meat to enlarge the hole) now.

Googling has not revealed anything yet.

With the small battery terminals on many modern cars I would have thought it a common item.

I just woe up, so brain still not fIring on all cylinders.

Why do you need a 6.3mm post hole? For the battery terminal? Or are making a better ground somewhere?

Yes, the battery has tiny little posts and needs a 6mm ring terminal.

I ended up installing a larger battery in my car, so I ended up cutting the stock terminals off and using aerpro ap603 and ap604. It has 8ga holes so it's perfect for larger grounding and the std. Wiring fits great in the positive. Downside is you need a battery with larger terminal posts.

I have seen the terminals you looking for Damien. Where and when escapes me at the moment but I will speak to a mate and see if he has any in stock or can track some down for you.

You know what I would do, buy the 8mm hole ring terminal, put them onto the battery, then get a couple of nails, hammer them into the gap. and angle grind off the top of the nails, problem solved
