I'm hoping to break 150 this year with an SQ port configuration. Hopefully in the next couple of months somebody's gonna have a comp here for me to try.

No doubt they have already thought of that and decided that it is OK to put it on here. It is their decision.

threads such as this promte, not solely but in part, the "the mines bigger than yours" attitude...

who's got the biggest sub? who's got the most bass? who's got the longest port?

its all very good to have a forum like this, but to say that its a given is a bit silly, you cant just assume what everyone is thinking...

my message was merely a warning for those about to post, and to realise the possible consequences... nothing more

Mate, your over thinking. Grab a beer, find the remote, have a seat and let the good times roll! 8)

But seriously, I understand what you said 100% and I agree 100%. But it gets to the point where every second post is saying "don't post here" or "yeah i agree" and just gets stupid.

Nuff said, back on topic!

Okay seeing as how you people don't seem to know this yet I'll explain it for you.

If you have a 15" sub then you have a 15" penis. A 12" sub means a 12" penis, and a 10" sub means a 10" penis. If you have no subs then you have no penis at all. If you have multiple subs, it means that you are gifted with many penises. And finally if the brand of your stereo system is Sony, then you are a girl.

Hopefully that clears everything up for people!

I am currently getting a R-type 15 inch penis attached atm. To go with my Alpine 4ch amp, Lanzar vibe 261 amp, Polk audio 6 1/2 inch splits, Fusion 4inch splits. Plus I have a huge torch battery powering it all, An odessey 245cca battery. I'm getting fit from all this pushstarting.

Serious? I'll hunt down the white paper and have a gander.

I really don't want to run 3-way...

They will be in aperiodic enclosures btw. So that should help impedence changes, right?

AP might help.

a friend re-wound the coils and built a passive xover with impedence correction and still could only get it down to ~20ohm at 400hz.

they dont sound to bad but there is no meat in the midrange at all..
