Hi all,
Glad to have joined now i have my ignis, i have read alot of posts and there are alot of people on here who know there syuff, my problems are.
1 my car revs between 1 and 3 rpm when idiling and want to know how i can fix this, i have read its the vac hose.
2 I have been told i need a new starter motor and want to know if i do,
Please help i know a bit about cars, but not this.

hello and welcome to redline and congrats on buying a ignis.
did you get an ignis sport or standard ignis?
the idle issue sound like idle control solenoid on the throttle body or possible vacum lline? also check the charcoal cansister vacum lines and the solinoid that connects to it?
with your starter motor what problems does it have? check carrosion on battery treminals and the engine has good earth to battery? is the battery still ok?
there some tips to look at

Hi yeah i got a black sport, there very rare where i am from, well i have just had the battery changed and there is no bad wires ect, i was just told cause it was ticking when i had to jump start it before the bat was changed i need a new starter ?
sorry but do u have a pic of where the hose may be so i can have a look and change it ?
